Refund Policy

Last updated: 04 August 2026

This Refund Policy applies to subscriptions purchased for the Anshu's DeskEDU platform.

1. Free trial

New Institutions can evaluate the platform during the trial period included with their plan before any payment is due. We recommend using this period to confirm the Service fits your Institution's needs.

2. Subscription fees

Subscription fees are billed in advance for the chosen billing cycle — Monthly, Quarterly, Half-Yearly or Yearly. Fees already paid for the current billing cycle are generally non-refundable once that cycle has started, except as set out below. The One-Time License is a separate, single upfront payment — see Section 8 below for how refunds work for it.

3. Eligible refunds

A refund may be considered if:

  • A duplicate or incorrect charge was made in error, or
  • The Service was unavailable for a significant, sustained period due to a fault on our side, or
  • Cancellation is requested within 7 days of an initial paid subscription (first-time subscribers only).
4. How to request a refund

Send a refund request to hello@deskedu.in with your Institution's account details and the reason for the request. We aim to respond within 5–7 business days.

5. Cancellations

Institutions may cancel their subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing cycle already paid for. We do not provide partial-cycle refunds for unused time, except where required by the eligible-refund cases above.

6. Downgrades & upgrades

Switching between recurring plans (Monthly, Quarterly, Half-Yearly, Yearly) may result in a prorated charge or credit for the remainder of the current billing cycle, calculated at the time of the change.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time; the date above reflects the latest revision.

8. One-Time License (lifetime access)

The One-Time License is a single upfront payment agreed directly with our team, granting lifetime access with no recurring renewals. Because pricing and terms are negotiated individually for each Institution, refund eligibility for a One-Time License is likewise handled case by case rather than under the automatic 7-day window in Section 3 — please refer to the specific agreement or invoice provided at the time of purchase, or contact us using the details in Section 4. As a general starting point, a full refund may be considered if requested within 14 days of activation and the Institution has not materially used the platform (e.g. no student, teacher or fee data has been added); after that point, or once the platform is in active use, the payment is generally non-refundable given the lifetime nature of the license.
